WarTable Marketplace Terms
These terms cover buying and selling in the WarTable Marketplace. By listing or buying in the Marketplace, you agree to these terms, to the WarTable community rules, and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Physical goods only
The Marketplace is for physical trading cards only โ real cards mailed to the buyer. No digital downloads, no digital files, no digital items, and no in-app digital currency are sold in the Marketplace. If a listing offers a digital item, it will be removed.
Physical goods are not Apple In-App Purchases and are not Google Play Billing products. Payment for a physical card is processed through our payment provider, Stripe, as a physical-goods purchase. Apple and Google do not process, hold, or refund physical-goods payments in WarTable.
2. Who can sell, and what can be sold
- You may only list cards you own and can mail.
- Listings must show real photos of the actual card, front and back, its true condition, and its true price.
- Counterfeit, fake, stolen, or misrepresented cards are prohibited and will be removed. Repeat violations can lead to account removal.
- Prohibited items, illegal items, and items that violate another person's rights may not be listed.
3. Prices, fees, and payment
The price shown on a listing is the price of the card. The Marketplace fee is 5% of the sale price. Payment processing fees charged by Stripe also apply. The buyer pays the total shown at checkout, before confirming the order. No hidden charges are added after checkout.
Payment card details are entered only in Stripe's secure checkout. WarTable never sees, collects, or stores your full payment card number. See our Privacy Policy for how Stripe handles payment data.
Sale proceeds are held until delivery is confirmed, then paid out to the seller through Stripe Connect, minus the Marketplace fee and payment processing fees. Sellers must complete Stripe Connect onboarding, including identity verification and a bank account, before they can receive payouts.
4. Shipping โ what the buyer must provide, what the seller must do
At checkout, the buyer must provide a complete shipping address: full name, street address, city, state or province, postal code, and country. An order cannot be placed without it. That address is shown only to the seller of that order, for shipping that order, and is not shown publicly.
The seller must ship the physical card within 5 days of the order, with tracking, and enter the tracking number in WarTable. The seller pays for shipping unless the listing clearly states otherwise before purchase.
Shipping is the seller's responsibility until delivery is confirmed by the buyer. Lost, damaged, or undelivered orders are handled under Section 5.
5. Delivery, returns, and refunds
- The buyer confirms delivery in WarTable. Payout to the seller is released after delivery is confirmed.
- If the card never arrives, arrives damaged, or is not the card described, the buyer must report it in WarTable within 7 days of the expected delivery date, with photos if applicable.
- We will review reports within 24 hours, hold the payout while a report is open, and may refund the buyer, require a return, or release the payout, depending on the evidence.
- Buyers must return a card in the condition received if a return is required, using tracked shipping provided in the resolution.
- Refunds, when granted, go back to the buyer's original payment method through Stripe.
6. Trades
Trade offers are swaps of physical cards between players. Each player ships their own card under the same 5-day, tracked-shipping rule. WarTable does not hold money for trades. Trade disputes are reported the same way as sale disputes.
7. Safety, reporting, and removal
All users must agree to WarTable's community rules before registering or signing in, including zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Any user can flag a listing, post, or user, and block another user. Flagged content is hidden for the flagger immediately and reviewed within 24 hours. Content that violates these terms or the community rules will be removed, and the account may be removed.
To report a listing, seller, or buyer, use Flag in the app, or contact us at [email protected].
8. Taxes
Sellers are responsible for their own tax obligations on sales. WarTable and Stripe provide payout and sales records to sellers. Buyers may be charged sales tax where required by law, shown at checkout before payment.
9. Changes
If these terms change, we will update the effective date above and, for significant changes, notify users in the app or by email. Continued use of the Marketplace after a change means you accept the new terms.
